About Us

Quilt Ideas had its beginning in the hearts of Loren & Sharon Wilhelm. Both being piecers and quilters, they needed an outlet for their talents.

Sharon was previously the owner of two retail businesses: Country Collectibles, and, for ten years, " Sharon's Quilt Depot of McKinney, Texas." Having moved away from retail, she now has time to create quilts for teaching classes and patterns to sell. To continue teaching she has become teacher coordinator at Suzy's Quilt Shop at 111 N. 6th St., in Garland, Texas.

The love of her life and chief cheerleader, Loren, a quilter himself, loves to work by her side in the sewing room, also designing, piecing, and quilting.
