"Box of 100 Crayola Colors, Leggos, Lace and a Vegetable Bag?"
As a child I loved to color and cut out paper dolls. Still to this day I love to color and have several ways to enhance what I did as a child. Come let me show you some results of how to color, shade, get three dimension accents, and mix colors on the fabric. Some of the coloring is hidden in applique along with embroidery and pen stitching. There will be lots of samples of quilts with simple coloring and others with details you will have to look for. Also some neat ideas on how to use those broken crayolas. (Trunk Show.)

"Color That Is Politically Correct - Integrated and Segregated"
Come hear how each of these terms describe the ways we can use color. Then see a trunk show of how they are incorporated into quilt challenges of themes, styles, and techniques. It also focuses on colors in the pallet, values, and family colors.

"For The Love of Blocks of the Month, Here Go I" Trunk Show
From the beginning of my quilting career and even to this day, I love Blocks of the Month. I love designing them with lots of techniques to continue the learning process. I love making them for the challenge of working within the box. I love them for the creative process of putting a fabric puzzle together. And I love them because you can just make one block a month and don't get overwhelmed. The trunk show will have some series, some onezys, some I have designed and other I just could not wait to do. While designing the new "Texas Treasures", I can hardly wait to get a new embroidery block of the month started (designed by someone else). The enthusiasm never ends! I have Quilt Pox and it is contagious!

"Quilt As You Sew or Quilt as You Go!"
"Quilt As You Sew or Quilt As You Go" has been around for many years. But we have been producing quilt tops so fast in the last few years that we cannot get them all quilted, even with the help of the long arm quilters. Even before we had all the modern machines, our mothers and grandmothers did not get all of their tops quilted as seen in "Boxes under the Bed". Come and let me expose you to some methods that you can get those blocks into quilts on your home sewing machines. Trunk Show to follow.

"Quilts and Their Stories - Challenges, Themes and Inspirations"
Where do they come from and how do they get into quilts? When creating and designing quilts, we all start from different places. I will enlighten you with creative processes that I have used while viewing and hearing a little bit about a few of my quilts and their history.

"Trunk Show & Poetry"
We will be showing you some quilts we have made but given away, some kits and some original designs. We both love Christmas and each year we create a new hand made ornament. We mail or give away about 200. Loren always has fun with his poems and you just never know what inspires him so there are a few poems to share. There will be theme quilts and blocks of the month with their stories to tell.
