This quilt would not be finished without the history of the Alamo which is included. The State Pastry is "Sopaipilla" with honey, the Dish is "Chili", The Pepper is "Jalapeno", the Vegetable is "Sweet Onion" and the Native Pepper is "Chiltepin". You will find a little bit about each of these in the history. All are appliqued, embroidered and colored.
